21-May-2008: Please see status.uoregon.edu for current status of centrally-run systems.
04-Oct-2007: Regular maintenance for October will be delayed a week to Oct 20-21, so that we can wait for a security patch to be delivered. Details as to the actual downtime will be sent out via email closer to the date.
27-Jul-2007: 1) We will be launching Phase 1 of our identigy management project on July 28. Please see previous email notices for more information.
2) A major Banner upgrade is scheduled for Sep 8-9.
22-May-2007: Reminder that we will be moving all of the administrative systems (including Banner and the data warehouse) off of daisy and donald THIS year. We are currently in the process of wrapping up the RFP award process and hope to have hardware on site in early Summer.
30-Mar-2007: Administrative systems are unavailable Friday evenings while we do backups, and the seoncd weekend of every month (unless otherwise announced).
13-Nov-2006: The scheduled maintenance for November has been delayed until Nov 18-19. Details of actual service outage will be sent to the banner-status list closer to that date.
13-Oct-2006: Banner will be unavailable for half an hour between 7:30 am and 9 am on Saturday, Oct 14th. (systems maintenance)
13-Sep-2006: Next scheduled maintenance: Sept 16-17 (Banner upgrade). Banner and DuckWeb will be unavailable until Sunday mid-day. The data warehouse WILL be available.
10-Aug-2006: Next scheduled maintenance: August 13/14. Specific information will be distributed via the banner-status list.
06-Jul-2006: Next scheduled maintenance: July 8/2-4 p.m. Banner, DuckWeb and the data warehouses will be unavailable.
01-Jun-2006: Next scheduled maintenance: June 10-11.
30-Mar-2006: We will be replacing the INB servers the morning of April 8. If all goes well, Banner should only be unavailable for a few minutes on that Saturday. We will be upgrading Banner to version 7.2 during the weekend of April 22-23. We will provide more specific information closer to that date. Questions? Please call 346-1725.
17-Mar-2006: Next Banner maintenance weekend: April 8 & 9.
28-Nov-2005: 28-Nov-2005: Banner 7 is now in production (PROD). Please log in via inb.uoregon.edu (not your Banner 6 bookmark).
16-Jun-2005: Banner/Duckweb maintenance: June 18.
Banner and Duckweb will be unavailable on Saturday from 1pm until 10pm. The data warehouse will have a brief outage of service (10 minutes?) Saturday afternoon. All systems should be available as usual on Sunday.
07-Jun-2005: We will not take Banner/Duckweb down for their weekly backup until 8:30 p.m. on June 10 to accomodate end-of-term checkout at Housing.
07-Jun-2005: We will not take Banner/Duckweb down for their weekly backup until 8:00 p.m. on June 17 to accomodate registration in Hawaii (and the time zone difference).
03-Jun-2005: Next Banner/Duckweb maintenance weekend: June 18 & 19
24-Mar-2005: Normal scheduled maintenance is the second weekend of every month. Banner, Duckweb and the data warehouses will be down during this time unless otherwise noted.
