Year 2000 Compliance of the Student Data Warehouse

The Student Data Warehouse (SDW) is Year 2000 compliant.

However, you should be aware of the following points:

• GQL uses the default date format you have specified for your PC (Control Panel: Regional settings) or Mac (Numbers, Dates and Time Control Panel) when it displays and saves data.
• If you have saved data to a file with just a two-digit year (eg: 10/25/98) then GQL assumes 1900 should you import that data.

We suggest that you select a default date format for your computer which includes a 4-digit year (eg: 10/25/1998) and, for GQL, use that default date format on all date fields. Learn how to format your date fields here.
