1. Admissions: CRM Project

1. Digital IDs for class lists: Display photo ID on DuckWeb class lists and grade rosters for faculty viewing. Provides identity confirmation and a way to prevent classroom fraud.
2. ORSA: should they develop activity reporting in-house or acquire a tool?
Enterprise-wide projects
1. Blackboard: add redundancy and robustness
2. Course evaluation system replacement
3. Portal (Luminis?): investigate portal for electronic messaging capabilities
4. Need to migrate Banner off of OpenVMS operating system before December 2007 (which is when Oracle will no longer support it). This will require new hardware, new Oracle licensing, time to convert job submission (which is OpenVMS specific) etc. Requires $750,000-$1,000,000 (and more research)
5. Test environment: create a more robust TEST (clone PROD?): requires hardware and software $250,000-$500,000 (and more research)

Registrars: OUS/ATLAS project: The Articulated Transfer Linked Audit System (ATLAS), an OUS-and state-wide initiative, allows students to determine how their earned or planned coursework will transfer to other state universities and community colleges, and how that transfer work will apply toward a degree at that institution. The Board approved the purchase and first-year implementation costs ($750,000) at their January 2006 meeting. (this project is just starting up)
